Mrs. Lerchen

My name is Sarah Lerchen, and I am very excited to be teaching English at Northview Academy!  I was raised in the Kodak area and attended both Northview Elementary and Northview Middle School. I received my Bachelor's degree in English Literature from The University of Tennessee, completed my Master's degree at Carson-Newman in Secondary Education, and hold an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Lincoln Memorial University.

Outside of the classroom I spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy running, hiking, reading, and listening to music and watching movies from a variety of genres.

Helping students reach their potential is what drives me as a teacher. Senior year is one of such importance. Students are determining which direction they will take as they transition from high school.  I am here to support that transition however I can.

This is going to be a great year! I look forward to it!
